  7. Wholesale Distribution software is a nationally installed package.  It offers
  8. a series of fully integrated, multifunction programs handling all aspects of
  9. customer orders, pricing, purchasing, inventory management, and bookkeeping,
  10. using a unique concept known as ``Inventory Action.'' The system dynamically
  11. manages all exception conditions.  Direct shipments, kits, nonstock orders,
  12. back orders, substitutions, and open purchases.  Orders are monitored with
  13. automatic allocation of inventory receipts to customer back orders.  A
  14. ``Tickler System'' allows for automatic alert to due date expiration of action
  15. items.  The same techniques are used to manage quotations and customer direct
  16. orders.  The comprehensive bookkeeping subsystems handle receivables
  17. interactively and also provide a dynamic link between purchase receipts and
  18. accounts payable invoices.  It also interfaces with third-party General
  19. Ledger.  The package will manage a multibranch environment either on a single
  20. system or on distributed multisystems.  Ideally suited for electrical,
  21. industrial, and plumbing supply.
